A Conversation with Estrella

In this video segment, Estrella, a 3rd grader at IDCS, explains some of her journal entries about Nepal. The students wrote their wonderings about this place half way across the world and what life is like there. She was able to make some connections with her families native home of Mexico as well. Although there are unique differences in the Nepalese culture and the American culture, our students our noticing and wondering about our similarities too.
